By watching and/or reading a lot of different stuff (movies, books, documentaries etc), especially anything that may be adjacently related to or in the same genre as what I'm writing.

Pretty much everywhere I go - on the internet, when I see art or writing pieces that inspire me, in books, even outside - location or scenery kinda propells me to imagine scenarios with my favorite characters in it, and that inspires me to write out those scenarios into a full-fledged story.
