Lots of speed writes! Just write whatever comes to mind for five minutes without stopping (or longer if you're handwriting), and completely ignore the conventions of writing. Cram your dialogue, don't do paragraph breaks, ignore spelling errors; JUST WRITE. Eventually, you'll find that your creativity is flowing smoother and break the barriers of your writer's block. Sometimes, you'll even write cool ideas you'll want to include in your main projects! Happy writing!

1. Don't be afraid to take inspiration from forms of media like books, TV shows, movies, etc. Oftentimes, we take a bunch of things from sources we like to create our own style, so don't be afraid to experiment with mimicking other books! 2. Don't hold unrealistic expectations for yourself. This was a huge problem for me, where I was so focused on making my writing sound perfect and amazing in the first draft. Just slow down, and try to enjoy the process. It won't come all at once, but over time, your skills will develop. 3. Ask for feedback from other peers or even adult figures in your life. It's good to get a second opinion on your writing, especially from different people, since they can notice the things you might have missed and provide important suggestions to improve your writing. Constructive criticism is always helpful! 4. Take a break when you feel demotivated and come back to it later. Sometimes, we overload our brains with too much of the same thing, so it's important to mix it up a little and try not to stress about it. Do something else in the meantime, and come back to it when you feel ready. (Just don't procrastinate; in my experience, that never helps :')
